Eugenio

Evgeni Petkov, known as Eugenio, is a Bulgarian-British fashion designer, educator and researcher. His practice — the Nomadic Recycling Project — transforms textile waste and cultural fragments into unisex garments carrying stories of travel, memory and belonging. Inspired by his life between Bulgaria, France, England and China, and his extensive travels across Asia, his work explores the boundary where different cultures and materials meet to create something entirely new. Former lecturer at University of Southampton, he is currently Senior Lecturer at De Montfort University, UK.
