Maria Popova

Maria Popova is a fashion designer specializing in contemporary conceptual design. She began her professional journey with a bachelor’s and master’s degree in fashion design from New Bulgarian University in Sofia. Over the years, she has participated in numerous national and international competitions, including IDEA MODA, Mittelmoda Fashion Award, LICC International Competition, and was a finalist at the IDA Design Award 2025.

Her design signature is characterized by deconstructed cuts, asymmetry, and sculptural, architectural forms through which she explores the relationship between body, structure, and movement. Her work combines an experimental approach with a strong visual presence, turning each collection into an artistic exploration of form and silhouette.
